e-ID Data Recording Service will Be Provided in Schools

We are targeting to do e-ID data recording in 34 public and private SMAs and SMKs until March

Starting January 10, 2019, Jakarta Population and Civil Registration (Dukcapil) Dept. will visit senior high schools (SMA) and vocational high schools (SMK) to hold e-ID data recording.

Jakarta Dukcapil Dept. Head, Dhany Sukma said, this visit is done to facilitate high schools students by conducting e-ID data recording early thus they can get their own e-ID card immediately when they turns 17 years old.

High School Students Data in Central Jakarta to Be Recorded for e-ID

"We are targeting to do e-ID data recording in 34 public and private SMAs and SMKs until March," he mentioned, Monday (1/7).

e-ID data recording service will be started at 8 AM using mobile service car.

"We will visit gradually all SMAs and equivalent high schools in Jakarta to give this service," he conveyed.

According to him, this service is one of his innovation to facilitate people to get e-ID card and encourage them to be orderly in population administration.

"Regarding this service, we also schedule to visit residents' houses on the weekends. Besides, we are also available to give recording service until night for residents who are very busy," he explained.
